Bob Kaufman says there's no smoke and mirrors at Bob's. Well, he's not quite right -- they do sell mirrors. Bob's offers a full line of furniture and furniture sets for every room in the house. The stores also offer a "forever warrantee" that's "better than the one I have on my car," Bob says. He started the company in 1991 and has expanded to 31 stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. Three of them are in Fairfield County. Bob says his success rests on his customers' appreciation of value and service, and he's grateful for their patronage. "What higher authority is there than the public?," he asks. We're not answering that one, Bob.
