Because of frequent trips to New York, Fairfield County residents have had the good stuff - the alleged only "real" bagels in the world. For a bagel shop to get respect for us, it has to not just be good but royally good. Enter Bagel King, whose two-pronged scepter consists of one store in Stamford and another in Norwalk. Emilio, the manager, says that the most popular bagel is "the works," which has everything: poppy seeds, cream cheese and even a dash of fruit topping. The Norwalk store recently completed reconstruction making it even more fit for a king.
