Andros Diner "always has the same ingredients and always has the same perfection," says manager Tony Pertesis. And as a winner in this category, they aren't just open "late," they're open 24/7. Andros has generous portions, omelets cooked to "perfection," poultry, steaks, the "best chicken souvlaki in town" and lots of specialty sautees, and all baking is done on premises. "We are the cleanest," says Pertesis, "and our quality compares to any high-class restaurant out there. We don't buy cheap food." It's not just the food that keeps 'em coming back, though. Pertesis says about his customer base, "We're on a first-name basis with everyone."
