Everyone feels like a kid in a candy shop at Sweet Rexie's. Who doesn't get a sugar high when surrounded by 200 kinds of candy - Swedish fish, gummi gums, Tootsie rolls - and gourmet treats? Open five years now, Sweet Rexies is a fun destination for visitors to SoNo. And locals like it so much, they asked owner Nanci Lewis to hold more events. Now, in addition to children's birthday parties, there's the Cupcake Club, where kids learn to decorate cupcakes to look like spaghetti and meatballs, among other ideas from the book Hello Cupcake. At Ladies' Nights Out, adults have hand massages before dipping fondue forks into warm chocolate.
